Some of the awards that Lily O Brien's have been lucky enough to receive over the past number of years include Great Taste Awards 2011 - Passion Fruit Posset, Irish Business Enterprise of The Year Award 2009, Gold Great Taste Award 2009 - Tiramisu, Two Gold Great Taste Awards - 2008, Image Businesswoman Of The Year - 2007, Food &amp; Drink Exporter of The Year - 2006 and Silver Great Taste Award - 2006</p>


Lily O'Brien's has been lucky enough to receive numerous awards over the past decade in recognition of the quality and taste of its products but also in recognition of its commitment to various areas of excellence including export, innovative spirit and entrepreneurial origins.

2015 Blas na hEireann


The Irish Food Awards is the biggest competition for quality Irish produce in Ireland. Over 2,500 products were entered into the 2015 competition in over 100 food and drink categories


2015 Silver Award – Chocolate Individual Category 


Our 12 chocolate Sticky Toffee Box won a Silver Award in the 2015 Blas Awards. This is one of Lily O’Brien’s oldest and best loved recipes.

Recipe: Sweet, smooth caramel smothered in delicious milk chocolate. 


Mercury Award 


We were awarded the Mercury Award for our ground-breaking halal-certified gourmet desserts range at one of the airline industry’s most prestigious award ceremonies in the Middle East in association with Sial! The Mercury awards recognise the very best in on-board catering from a diverse range of categories including airline meals, general on-board food, beverages, packaging and equipment. 

Lily O’Brien’s Halal-certified Desserts Range was successful in the category of Food- Desserts & Confectionery. Each dessert recipe not only delivers an exceptional taste experience, but is also presented in an eco-friendly pot.


2015 Award Winner


The range, developed in response to the growing demand from airlines for high quality, indulgent products which cater to the diverse dietary needs of global passengers, consists of four outstanding new dessert recipes including:

  • Dark Chocolate Mousse with Butterscotch sauce
  • Zesty Lemon Posset
  • Blueberry and Vanilla Cheesecake
  • Chocolate Orange Mousse



Great Taste Awards


Great Taste, organised by the Guild of Fine Food, is the acknowledged benchmark for fine food and drink. It has been described as the ‘Oscars’ of the food world and the ‘epicurean equivalent of the Booker prize’. Quite simply the Great Taste logo is the sign you can trust when buying food and drink in your local, quality retailer. 


2014 Gold Star


  • Key Limey Pie was awarded a second Gold Great Taste Award two years in a row.

2013 Gold Star
